why don't you just take it easy and go on your own pace ? -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution ! -
unfortunately Switzerland isn't Europe ... anyway who cares ? -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

In Europe, ski slopes are classed from green to black (Green, blue, red and black) green being the easiest and black the hardest. -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

Just got Ouragan's head officer on the phone. Ouragan as we knew it is dead, but the new Ouragan will know a re-birth on new basis. They should be operational very soon. good luck guys. -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

after my second completed season as a video flyer : top do's : be there for the customer and not for your friends at the DZ, you're hired by a person who pays big bucks for that ! always get ready, a 25 minutes call can suddenly become a 5 minutes call always be ready to relay on the TM when he needs it (ie : checking his gear, concentrating in the plane ...) when exiting : always check where you are ... you'll have to be back at the landing zone to film the landing top don't : never exit right over the Tandem .... if you've missed the countdown let them go and then dive the hell out (this can give very good shots too) center your subject : the customer and not the TM your customer paid to have a movie of him, not to look at your cool freeflying moves (by the way he'll just think that you are loosing control ...) don't let your customer alone on the LZ once the cam is OFF ... get him back to the manifest or at least to a safe zone -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

on my Suunto Core i always reset it to 0ft at the landing area .... takes 15 secs max ... then i got an accurate direct reading. -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

Google Earth Drop Zone Project -- Ideas and Discussion

.kmz are the natives files of Google Earth ... so i guess that if you install GE on your mac you "should" be able to read the files ... or go buy a PC -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution ! -
what you could do now on your belly will be useful later when you'll be skilled enough to discover freeflying : front flips, back flips, barrel rolls ... all those "basics" will help you to learn how to make good transitions, how to get your stability back once you'll have lost it (and it will happen trust me !) just make sure you're not bypassing steps : it can kill you and others on your load. cheers ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

the way we do it (doesn't mean this is THE way to do it ) : when the intro is done in .avi file we copy it on all the 4 edition stations. the cam flyers just have to drag it in our edition software each time they work for a customer ... easy and simple ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !
-
we use this kind of intro for 4 years now ... nothing really hard : each winter the DZ orders a 30secs clip to one of the cam flyers willing to do so. then it's up to your creativity in terms of edition. cheers ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

i begun to shoot stills last season when i was around 350 jumps fot the lasts 30 or so jumps. Then this year i have around 200 jumps with the still cam and the video : my back hurts like hell every single morning and i didn't experienced any hard opening ... with any decent video cam you'll be able to bring back some good footages, but taking stills is all another world, you'll have to choose the good moments to take the pics, it means that you'll have to forget to think about your freefall while you take the pics, you'll have to learn a lot about your camera settings and sometimes it can be quite frustrating once back on earth, and finally you'll have to muscle up your neck the more you can : trust me ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !
