  1. Weekend full of skydiving. 3 jumps Saturday and 3 jumps Sunday. Also did the packing course this weekend. Now just to write the online test and then we will both be A-Licenced :)
  2. Thanks! :) He has done some static line jumps, but that was around 20 years ago. So we both started from scratch together :)
  3. Hi all, 40 year female from South Africa :) We started AFF in Jan 2015, will be finishing ISPs this weekend with a total of 25 jumps, weather permitting. First jump was sort of a wedding anniversary gift from my husband. Him thinking I would only do the one jump. But the bug bit hard. :) Lucky we both enjoy skydiving. Will be visiting New York in April, work permitting :) and am trying to plan some tunnel time. Made my first equipment purchase this week, my good friend the weight belt. I'm 5'4" and weigh 110. (1.66m & 50kg)
  4. Interesting topic and read! Ive been jumping most of my jumps since completion of AFF with between 4 and 6 weights. Im 5'4" and only weigh 110! (1.66m & 50kg) At one point thought due to my weight skydiving might not be for me, but I loved every jump so much... Now planning some tunnel time soon to work on my body position and fall rate. But for now I'll stick with my good friend the weight belt :)
  5. Thank you kindly for all the valuable replies! :)
  6. Hi all, Husband and I are visiting / holiday New York & Buffalo in April. We would like to get in some tunnel time if possible as we are both beginner skydivers and were told that tunnel time would be of great value for this new sport-love of ours. Where would be the best place to go to? Quality value and price. We only have American visas so unfortunately Canada is out of the question, as there is not enough time to obtain visas. I should most likely post the next question in a different forum, but... we are also looking to buy some skydiving equipment while there. Is this advisable? Looking for G3 Cookie XL and Small, audibles and altimeters. :) Thanks in advance Bokkie (from South Africa)
